With more than 15 years of experience in organizational strategy, leadership development, and community impact, she equips executives, teams, and boards to build workplaces where people feel valued, supported, and able to thrive. Carla holds a Master of Arts in Applied Sociology with a focus on nonprofit leadership and organizational development.
Carla is known for her ability to uncover the truth beneath the surface, ask the questions that matter most, and guide leaders from big vision to practical action. She partners with for-profit, nonprofit, and education leaders across the country to strengthen systems, align culture with values, and create measurable change that lasts — always with equity and humanity at the center.
A trusted advisor and community-builder, Carla finds joy in family adventures, traveling, whales, and watching communities flourish alongside her husband and sons on the Jersey Shore.

A graduate of Gannon University, Princeton Theological Seminary, and St. Paul’s School of Theology, Semaj is a dedicated leader who finds joy in family adventures, solving escape room puzzles, whale watching, and visiting zoos and aquariums with his wife and sons.
